Q.  Is the Universe flooded with electromagnetic radiation?

A.  Yes. We notice the visible-light part most, but this makes up less than 3% of the total energy received from space.

Q.  What is the rest?

A.  The biggest part is CMBR, Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, over 70% of the total. Then there is infrared, at almost 27%.

Q.  What about ultraviolet, x-rays, and gamma-rays?

A.  Their total energy is quite small, only a fraction of 1%.
